Lauren was born and raised in the Stonewood community of Cedar Hill, Texas. She has strong ties to the community as her mother is a current teacher in the district, her father is the previous All Youth Sports President for Cedar Hill, and her sister is an Administrative Executive to the Vice-Superintendent. Lauren graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with Honors with a Bachelors in Communications and Business Management. She has worked for Johnson and Johnson as an Account Executive to hospitals around the state of Texas for over 9 years. She serves on the African Ancestry Leadership Council board as the Texas Lead and is a member of the Women’s Leadership Initiative. She has developed programs to serve the Beaumont community youth to develop leadership and development skills through sports. This new business venture is allowing Lauren to focus on the things she is most passionate about: community, education, development, today’s youth, and giving back.
Gabrielle was born and raised in the High Pointe community of Cedar Hill, Texas. Her parents moved to Cedar Hill in 1985 and have been strong supporters of the Cedar Hill Independent School District and community ever since. Gabrielle’s mother served on the CHISD Athletic Board for over 10 years and was a public servant for the State of Texas for over 26 years. Gabrielle attended Southeastern Louisiana University on a full Division 1 Athletic Basketball Scholarship, where she graduated with Honors with a Bachelor’s in Business Management. She then attended Thurgood Marshall School of Law at Texas Southern University, where she obtained her Juris Doctorate degree. Gabrielle passed the Texas Bar Exam and was sworn in as a Texas licensed Attorney in December of 2015. She has since then used her law license to give back to the community working as a public servant Attorney for the State of Texas.
